Damien, Victoria and I went to San Alfonso Del Mar to spend some time at the biggest pool in the world. The area is a private luxury vacation area for the rich Chileans which meant we were not allowed to get in… Everything is possible if you want to pay. We rented an for a day from the cleaning people. Not many of the owners are at their apartments at this part of the year which apparently means the cleaning people are in power to rent out the apartments….. we did not ask any questions. We got the key and went exploring. It takes about an hour to walk around the pool and in the middle is a pyramid with heated pools, sand and whirlpools… i made my own bubbles and got the pool for myself ;o)
The place is next to the sea and we went walking on the beach for a time. The waves are amazing and have such power. I just had to challenge them and wanted to wade in the water to my angles. As Damien took a photo of me, a wave snuck up on me and attacked me from behind. Damn sneaky bastards. I got wet all over.
Bottom line… a great time to spend a Sunday with hangovers!
