For a school assignment in my Spanish lessons I had o make a presentation of the neighbourhood of Vitacura. It is the newest part of Santiago and all the big companies have their head offices here.
Most of the buildings are new and all made out of glass. It is the most expensive place to live in Santiago and it was interesting to see the mix of new office buildings with the older residential buildings. I went for a stroll and took a few pictures. The construction which is visible in the first few pictures are of a new shopping mall which is being build. In one year it will be finished and at then Santiago will be able to brag about the biggest shopping mall in all of South-America.
