The final day in school…

  • english

Today was the last day in school. Even though the motivation might not have been as high this week as it has been a good week alltogether. We were moved up a nudge in levels in the beginning of the week. Jakob continued on with the more advanced stuff, while I decided to follow a lower graded course for this week getting the opportunity to to speak more of the language.

Yesterday we went out with some of the students and two of our teachers, Estela and Paz. We went to a small tapas-restaurant in the north-eastern part of Granada where we had a few drinks and some tapas and continued on to an Irish pub not far from the restaurant. I went home to the flat around 1 and Jakob continued on. Exactly where they went I have no idea, so you have to speak to Jakob about this. All-in-all a very nice evening, and good to finally get an opportunity to experience people from a more personal angle.

I didn’t get to say goodbye to all of you this afternoon after school, which nags me a bit. To those of you reading this: Thank you for a great 4 weeks!

Hasta futuro!

Br,
Kasper

    Hola Paz,

Let me know when you start your "discussions" about "all kind of crazy things" so I can join in and wind you up a little bit, ok? (well, I hope that the "discussion" is not in Danish...)
The school this week is driving me mad, I've got 3 beginner chinesse nuns in my class and it is a real challenge for me...
Bueno, te dejo por el momento, cuídate.
    Un besito.
Puedes enviarme un poquito de ese queso de los viernes si quieres y ya me lo comeré yo con un tinto de verano...
    Saluda a kasper.
¿Can you delete my messages from the blog?, I find really weird that "everybody" can read my stupid notes!Y repito: Es un trabajo duro entrar en vuestro blog para ver vuestros mensajes!!!
    Adios, otro besito.

Now i turn to english because im at work, it's friday and we have a tradition where we taste wine and eat cheese. I love it but after a few classes of wine im afraid to write in spanish.
We have added a Forum at the top of the page. Here we can write messages that don't have an apparent topic. I will start up a discussion in there soon and we can communicate all kind of crazy things.
I hope Barry is alright and that the business is going well. I have heard that realestate in Berlin is the next big thing so maby thats a good business opportunity.

    Un abrazo,

    Jakobo

Hi you two. We are back in Spain since Monday and it feels a bit odd to be here again after 8 great days (well, not all of them were so great...but most of them!), it was good to be able to wear jeans and a cardigan and not to melt. Nevertheless, the last weekend in London was quite hot, we reached 30 degrees celsius, and that's hot for England, I even got sun-burnt! Anyway, I had a proper look on your blog as I said I would do and I think that it is really good! I enjoyed and laughted a lot while reading some of your mad experiences; the photos are wicked too!
Well, I hope you don't forget the Spanish you learnt, so you are welcome to write to Barry and I in Spanish,ok? :) (well, Barry won't understand much...)
I didn't know in which part of the blog to submit my "comment", that is just a way of saying hello. I hope not to have spoilt anything.
    Take care, bye-bye.
    Paz

    Dear Paz,

Thank you for your comment. The feeling is likevise. Both with regards to saying goodbye and the embarrasment of writing in another language (especially our experiments with the spanish translations)...

I think I speak for both of us when I say that we have had four fantastic weeks down here and that we will most likely come and visit you again.

Have a nice trip to London and give our best regards to Barry.

    K

Hi there, just a quick note specially for Kasper, SANTA MADRE DE DIOS!! sorry I didn't get to see you before leaving the school, I would have liked to say goodbye to you personally, but there you go, it's not the end of the world. Well, just letting you two know, that it was great to meet you, you don't meet nice people at the school everyday,we had a good laugh together and that broke the routine of our daily work making it so much easier.
I hope you appreciate the fact that I'm writting in English exposing myself to shame before the eyes of the world...
Well, I'm going back to my packing for tomorrow. When I come back from England I will have a proper look on your blog, that by the way, seems to be quite promising...
Well, Jakob, Kasper, we hope to see you soon again in Granada.
    Best wishes,
    MPaz XX
